Installing KreatorKrate
KreatorKrate is delivered as a signed .zxp extension. Tested for Windows 11 and current supported macOS versions. Compatible with After Effects 2025 and 2026 (versions 25 and 26).
- Download the KreatorKrate ZXP. Use the secure download button on your order confirmation page. You’ll receive a signed KreatorKrate.zxp file.
- Save your licence information. Keep the licence id and purchase email from the confirmation page somewhere safe.
- Close After Effects completely. Do this before installing the extension.
- Get the official installer. Download the free aescripts + aeplugins ZXP Installer, then open it on your computer.
- Install the ZXP. Drag KreatorKrate.zxp onto the installer, or choose it from the installer.
- Wait for confirmation. Do not reopen After Effects until the installer reports a successful install.
- Reopen After Effects.
- Open the panel. Go to Window → Extensions (or Extensions (Legacy), depending on your AE build) → KreatorKrate. Dock it wherever you like.
- Activate once while online. Enter your licence id and purchase email. Ordinary KreatorKrate use works offline afterwards.

Troubleshooting
- Panel not listed under Extensions? Restart After Effects fully (and Creative Cloud). Confirm you’re using After Effects 2025 or 2026, and that the ZXP installer reported a successful install.
- Installer reports a signature problem? Re-download the .zxp. A partially downloaded file can fail validation.
- Activation won’t complete? Check the licence id and the email you purchased with, and confirm this computer is online for the one-time activation. It binds to this computer, then runs offline.
- Panel opens blank? Undock and re-dock the panel, or restart AE. Still blank? Email us and we’ll get you running.
